1 tsp grated orange rind(may use 1 tsp of real lemon if you don't have orange rind)
1/2 c chopped dates or
1/4 c chopped nuts any kind
1 T French
Pinch of salt to taste
Mix all ingredients together & spread on thin slices of buttered bread. Or you may layer the ingredients on the bread if you like.
This is high in potassium, iron and protein. A great after school snack.
